Victoria Falls Entrance Fees & Costs
What it costs to see Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe and Zambia in 2026, what the ticket covers, how to pay and what activities cost on top.
The Victoria Falls entrance fee is charged separately on each side of the falls: by Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife (ZimParks) for the rainforest path on the Zimbabwe side, and by Zambia for Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park on the Zambian side. If you want to see both sides, you pay both fees.
Zimbabwe side (the rainforest)
In February 2026 ZimParks raised the international day-visitor fee for the Victoria Falls Rainforest to US$58, from US$50, after VAT was applied to tourism services. A VIP gate option and the evening lunar rainbow visits are charged at higher, separate rates. Many guides online still show the older price, so check the current fee before you go. The ticket covers one visit on the day you enter.
Zambia side (Mosi-oa-Tunya)
The Zambian side is cheaper; international adults have commonly been charged around US$20, with lower rates for regional residents and children. We have not been able to confirm an official 2026 rate, so treat this as a guide and check at the gate or with your operator.
How to pay
Carry US dollars in small notes. Card machines at the gates are reported to be unreliable, so cash is the safest backup on both sides.
Visas and the border
If you cross between the two sides, you also need the right visa. The KAZA UniVisa covers Zambia and Zimbabwe, and day trips to Chobe in Botswana; check its current price and your eligibility. See getting to Victoria Falls.
Activities on top of entry
Activities are priced by the operators who run them and are not included in park entry: the Devil's Pool tour from Livingstone Island, helicopter flights, white-water rafting, sunset cruises, the bungee jump and bridge tours. Prices change with the season and the operator, so we quote them with each trip.
Budgeting a Victoria Falls stay
Beyond entry fees, the main costs of a visit are your flights, two or three nights of accommodation and one or two paid activities. Our three-day Victoria Falls short break is quoted with all fees and transfers listed, so you can see exactly what is included.
