Getting there

The nearest town is Masindi; Paraa ferry crossing inside the park. Fly into Entebbe International (EBB), then road (5–6 hours) or charter to Pakuba or Bugungu airstrips. Baker's Lodge works well combined with 3 Days Murchison Falls Safari.

Things to do from Baker's Lodge

The Paraa ferry to the north bank game circuits is a few minutes' drive away, so early game drives are easy. The top of the falls is about 45 minutes to an hour by road. Launch trips to the falls and the delta cruise leave from Paraa.

How long to stay

Two to three nights, depending on whether you add the delta cruise or chimpanzee tracking in Budongo. Murchison Falls: Year-round flow; December–February and June–September for the driest game drives.
