Choosing between safari lodges near Africa’s waterfalls starts with how close to the water you want to be. At Victoria Falls, hotels in town let you walk to the rainforest, while lodges upstream on the Zambezi trade that convenience for river views and wildlife. At Murchison Falls, the north bank is closest to the game drives and the south bank to the top of the falls. Then choose a style: classic hotel, safari lodge or tented camp.
